Tangent International are currently looking for a large number of TND Engineers with the following experience -
Role
Analyze the Customer Network Infrastructure
Perform transmission Network Optimization
Access Transport Network Design (P5).
Analysis of performance
Documentation according to customer requirements.
To troubleshoot and optimize transport & transmission network for WCDMA in P5, using HSPA with interconnectivity to the core via IP and/or ATM, including documentation and presentations to the customer.
Lead and co-ordinate the delivery of transport network strategy, design and performance oriented consultancy services to Ericsson customers globally.
Customer relationship management.
Promotion of solutions and products toward existing and prospective customers with a view to winning business.
Provide leadership to colleagues within the Ericsson organization.
Other role as requested by the technical manager
Competence
Experienced in specifically P4 & P5
HSDPA, EUL, IMA Bandwidth Adaptation, Iu Flex
Analysis and improvement of performance Parameters
High knowledge on the following technologies ATM, IP, SDH & PDH
Participation in rollouts of big networks with more than 400 RBS & 4 RNC
Competence/knowledge of P5 ¡V EUL and HSDPA Ph2, preferable with experience in early launch project of P5 FOA projects.
Experience in Dimensioning and optimization for the Transport (Iub, Iur, Iu) and transmission network (PDH, SDH, ATM & IP) supporting P5 (HSDPA and EUL)
High knowledge of the following features: ¡÷ EUL TN Optimization ¡÷ Mu Routing in RNC ¡÷ Dynamic AAL2 connections ¡÷ IMA Bandwidth Adaptation SS7 over IP ¡÷ Iu Flex
Experience in deploying networks with HSDPA 16QAM
Strong knowledge on E/// TN parameters in order to optimize performance of E/// RAN
A minimum of six years experience working in the area of transport network design or operations.
In depth knowledge and experience of the process for delivering network design solutions for physical, logical and management network.
In depth knowledge of the Ericsson transport and radio-related product portfolio and transport network planning and design tools.
Working knowledge of wireline and wireless network architecture.
Working knowledge of IP, Ethernet, ATM, PDH and SDH.
A good command of written and spoken English.
