Responsibilities:
• Nominal Cell Planning based on Geo-marketing coverage requirements 
• Defining and surveying Cell Search Areas 
• Site candidate assessment, using coverage predictions, simulations and measurement 
• Detailed design and configuration of new sites, including capacity and power 
• BSS parameter setting (LAC, RAC, CI) 
• Maintaining accuracy of Radio Planning databases 
• In-building and Tunnel network design 
• Optimization of new sites to minimize interference and maximize coverage 
• Identification and optimization of poorly performing cells 
• Measurement data analysis including call-log and scanner data 
• Statistical analysis of metrics in relation to network performance KPI’s 
• Parameter and Feature Optimization 
• Investigation and resolution of Customer Coverage complaints 
• Frequency and Code Planning 
• Adjacency Planning 
• The Network Planning Engineer is responsible to ensure that all sites comply to build



Requirements:
• Technical Degree or Diploma 
• Minimum 2 years experience working in GSM and UMTS Network Planning 
• Supplementary Equipment Vendor trainings 
• Working experience in the telecoms / NIS fields 
• Good knowledge of all office applications 
• Basic knowledge of the GSM / UMTS technologies 
• Good knowledge of equipment vendor products 
• Strong communication skills 
• Very strong team working skills 
• Project Management diploma and/or track record would be appreciated 
• English fluently (written and oral) 
• German, French or Italian language skills would be appreciated
