2G ROLE:
Working Hours = Normal
Contract Length = 6 Months
Competance Level = Experienced
Notice Period = 1 Month
Delivery Practice / Product Area = RAN
Work Tools Provided E// = SIM
Primary Area of Expertise = 2G RND
Secondary Area of Expertise = 2G tuning & Optimization Special Requirement - Language/Tools = Own laptop Hub = BCD Detail Role Description = Position: Radio D&P Engineer Job description:
Primarily responsible for Working within the guidelines for Design and Capacity Planning of RAN for MC Report to D&P Head for all RAN D&P activities To ensure deliveries as per SLAs set in the MC contract Monitoring of Network Performance during rollout or capacity expansion; maintain the system within set KPIs and expansion path Network Capacity and performance monitoring Monthly Capacity Dimensioning Prepare BoQs for expansion & rollout Responsible for RAN Design and Network performance for defined areas Evaluate 3PP Integration Impact study Prepare a detailed design document for all 2G RAN which includes end to end connectivity and bandwidth calculation requirements Work with D&P head to engage customer technical teams on design, planning & solution issues Analyzing the customer's network and identify capacity requirements based on customer projections/AOP/EP Support Contract Management for Reconciliation, KPI and other matters when required
Excellent knowledge and experience of:
Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering;
Radio Network Statistics;
Transmission;
PC based tools;
Knowledge / experience of standard IT environments; Very high knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments; Knowledge of SQL database solutions as well as GIS; Local requirements and regulation of RF documentation.
Profound knowledge:
Telecom networks;
Quality requirements and methods;
Business processes;
Customer's business environment, processes and driving forces from a short and long-term perspective; Specialized consulting skills, strong change management skills and an in-depth knowledge of the industry; Customer oriented mindset, good interpersonal and communication skills;
