Responsibilities:
• Preparation and application of configuration data for both new and existing elements in the network
• Quality check data before application to the network to ensure that input errors are kept to a minimum
• Delivery to Operations of Databuilds and Data scripts to support planned changes
• Working closely with other departments to support optimisation activities and data related faults
• Central point of reference for databuild queries
• Network audits
• SS7 creation and modifications
• Technical approval for Operational changes
• Technical process & procedure reviews
• Production and support of reporting / measurements
Requirements:
• Good technical knowledge of 3g telecommunication networks
• Experienced with databuild specification for CS implementation
• Knowledge of SS7 Signalling
• Experience with Work Order creation, control of work flow
• Experience with Input of data to DX Elements
• Knowledge of DX200 Element hardware
• Knowledge of IP
• Knowledge of SQL / MS Access / Database Creation
• Pro-active - flexible approach to work
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoys working within a team but also able to work on own initiative
• Attention to detail, analytical and methodical
• Conscientious, flexible, professional and organised approach to work
• Works well under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Degree Educated
• Relevant NSS training
