PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform dimensioning of radio networks, frequency planning, coverage predictions;
* Perform radio surveys;
* Perform cell parameter settings;
* Perform radio network audit and performance improvement: statistics analysis and processing, KPI calculation, parameters and features tuning, make recommendation for future network development;
* Utilize NMS/OSS applications for radio network audit/performance improvement purposes;
* Perform Network strategy consulting;
* Assist in marketing and sales activities, customer negotiations;
* Take part in development of internal methods and tools;
* Transfer competence to internal/external customers in Radio Network Design/Improvement area;
* Develop competence of new employees and subcontractors;
* Support other units and Ericsson companies within own area of knowledge and competence;
* Manage Network Consulting projects;
* Perform customer survey;
* Report progress within the assigned area.
* Monitor & analyze the WCDMA/HSPA Radio Network Statistics on daily basis
* Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, and Mobility & Service Integrity)
- Candidate will be responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update, Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in the 3G RAN network for all Voice, Video Packet & High Speed.
- Issuing capacity upgrade requests whenever needed
* Responsible for the drive test analysis and taking the necessary action to improve the performance of his geographical area.
* Candidate should have a strong knowledge with (UETR, UEH, and GPEH) traces, parsing and analysis and comfortable to work with it on daily basis.
* Evaluate and adapt new methods and technologies regarding Radio Network Optimization, Features, and Trials & Tuning.
Good knowledge with the use of MS office,Mapinfo, TCPU (Tems cell planner universal), Drive test analysis and TEMS investigation drive test analaysis Must have good knowledge with SecureCRT, MOSHELL, Comand Prompts,OSS, Nexplorer Experienced 3G Optimisation engineers for 12 months. Radio Network Optimisation Scope: Activities include day-to-day performance monitoring on a high level in order to detect and correct exceptions or faults that have adverse effect on the service performance. Network Checks (Passive) Configuration checks of Radio Network Nodes. Any changes to be integrated and verified that improvements have been made. Key Performance Indicator analysis. Performance Indicator Analysis. Traffic analysis and performance degradation identification Node Statistics Performance counters to be gathered and correlated. Troubleshooting of each of these nodes will be performed as required based on available event, alarm and message reports. Recommendation on Parameter optimization.

- Minimum 5 years experience in Tuning & Network Performance Improvement Projects in 3G Radio Network Optimization Roles
- Strong Knowledge of Ericsson P6/p7 packages (Counters and Parameters)
- Experience in using (MCOM, MapInfo, NeXplorer, TEMS Investigation, TEMS Route Analysis, WNCS, WMRR) -Extensive 3G RNO & Tuning Experience on Ericsson Platform is a must
