Vacancy: Sr Technologist in Multimedia Arena, Southern California

Experience in state-of-the-art wireless multimedia technologies, deploying video optimization systems for network operators and content providers. 
Job Functions: Development of algorithms and architectures for new technologies. Testing, analysis, and validation of the technology prototypes, technology evaluation, partnership initiatives and nteraction with customers and various groups in the company as needed, to architect and deliver compelling products to customers.

·         5-7 Years of experience in innovating, conceptualizing, designing and architecting new products, developing prototypes and entire software development life cycle from concept to testing / maintenance.

·         C/C++ programming required. 

·         Familiarity with embedded development platforms like Windows Directshow/WMF, Android Multimedia, iOS Multimedia or BREW. 

·         Familiarity with development on Linux/Windows, 

·         Knowledge of at least one of the Scripting languages: Perl, PHP, Shell scripting. 

·         Experience in one or more of the following technologies is desirable: 

·         Network delivery protocols (RTSP/RTP/RTCP,HTTP,RTMP,SIP,AHLS) 

·         Network programming for TCP or UDP protocols. 

·         Understanding of Mobile internet concepts. 

·         Audio/video compression technologies (MPEG,H.264,AAC,VP8) & formats (MP4/FLV/MPEG2TS). 

·         DRM technologies for secure media management Experience with some embedded platform such as Qualcomm SnapDragon or TI – OMAP 

·         Ph.D. or MS in EE/ECE or Computer Science 6-9 years of industrial experience
