Activities for Swap project
Pre-integration and related testing (test calls) of 2G RBS6601 in BSC
RBS 6601 integration in BSC
Preparing configuration files for the RBS integration (Abis over IP and Abis over TDM)
SIU configuration and integration
RBS and SIU upgrade/update, if needed, according to procedures
RBS troubleshooting, if needed
RBS rehoming, if needed
RBS moving from TDM to IP and/or backwards, if needed
Following Swap procedure during swap night (in direct cooperation with Ericsson RO subcontractors onsite and customer on BSC site)
RBS acceptance testing on BSC side, after swap
Competence Profile:
Ericsson BSS G10B
Ericsson BSS 07B
Ericsson RBS6601, RBS2000 family
Abis over IP, SIU
Fluency in written and spoken English required, Romanian language is advantage.
The 2G integrator must have excellent communication skills.
Good communication, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills are essential;
Ability to work under pressure
5+ years experience in specific RAN area is recommended.
Education:
Degree within IT, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
