Telecom Vacancy for LTE Design Engineer || USA

Duration: 3-6 months with possibility to extend 


SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The RF Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment and integration of new cell sites in a LTE wireless network in the southern U.S.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
1. Design and deploy new cell sites in a LTE wireless network using the latest RF predictive modeling software (Atoll). 
2. Evaluate candidates submitted by site acquisition
3. Site visits with site acquisition and construction team members
4. Submit RF datasheets
5. Utilize software tools such as Atoll, Windcatcher, Mapinfo, Excel and Access for analyzing data and providing solutions to network issues
6. Work with site acquisition, leasing, architect and deployment teams to answer their questions and take decisions on any design changes.
7. Prepare FCC/FAA submissions



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required. Masters degree a plus. Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office products. 5+ years of RF engineering experience with CDMA, GSM, WIMAX or LTE. Some experience with LTE technology strongly preferred.
