Responsibilities:
• Develop a Master Programme Schedule based on input from different areas of the Programme
• Synchronise and standardise internal planning activities and drive the planning process both internally and towards the customer/agencies
• Develop necessary planning and reporting processes and documentation to enable PMO to provide management with decision making information
• Provide management guidance to Workstream Planners on approach and execution of planning deliverables
• Tracking of progress with use of the Master Programme Schedule
• Synchronizing of Workstream plans with the Master Schedule
• Manage synchronisation of multiple schedules and conduct progress follow up meetings with both Workstream Planners and other project managers
• Identification and follow up of critical path in the project and identification of issues, uncertainties and risks which might influence the overall project plan, milestones and project finalisation date
• Support Process and Governance specialist in establishing Planning Processes and Procedures for Planning Team
• Support other PMO functions with provision of timely information relating to planning and progress
• Development of regular reporting programme status, critical path and other analytics to related to the overall plan
• Provid ad-hoc input/presentations to project management/Customer Team on overall progress, risk/uncertainties and project plans
• Develop the monthly internal report and customer report
Requirements:
• Desirable level of education MSc. BSc. or equivalent
• Project Management experience (Prince 2 background)
• Experienced use of planning tools (s.a. MS Project, Primavera) is required
• Good knowledge of Corporate/Organizational structures and communication levels
• Experience in team building/leadership/management
• Experience in a similar position within IT/Telecom projects
