A global leading telecom provider of intelligent IP service optimization, is looking for Senior Telecom Pre sales / System Engineer in Brazil
JOB Description:
* Target customers are mainly major Internet service providers, mobile operators and carriers, but will also address enterprise customers, mainly via channel partners.
* Conduct pre sales activities, including technical pre-sales presentations, workshops, RFIs, RFPs, high and low level design, SOW.
* Understand customers network and identify their needs. Design and size solutions for customers.
* Conduct Proof of Concept, trials and acceptance testing at customer sites.
* Support local partners, train partner personnel and back up for partner activities, seminars and workshops.
* Implement company solutions at customer sites, mainly by supporting partner activities.
* Perform professional services and network audits.
* Provide technical solutions to issues with the help of Tech Support teams.
* Present technical and product presentations in pre and post sales customer meetings
* This position would cover primarily Brazil but may Require travel for other projects in Central and South America.
JOB Requirements:
* Highly technical and experienced engineer with theoretical and hands on experience in IP networking
* Experience of 5+ years as Technical System Engineer (Pre-Sale) or Sales Engineer as described above.
* Strong background in Service Provider & mobile operator environments
* Strong presentation skills and customer relations·
* Certification in Networking
* Experience with network equipment (routers, routing protocols, firewalls, VPN devices, DPI devices, network management tools)·
* Experience in Linux/Unix, database systems – an advantage
* Excellent human relations, customer facing skills.
* Ability to design network solution for complex requirements
* Willingness to travel will be required (50% travel required)
* Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
* Education: Engineer / Bachelor degree - a must
