Responsibilities:
• Carry out project implementation work
• Responsible for implementing changes to the network design to support the launch of new mobile products and services
• Working closely with the IP Design team, support the whole deployment lifecycle including, reviewing design documents, impact assessment for implementation, reviewing testing procedures, and then ultimately responsible for executing the network changes to ensure minimum impact to end customers, and, to maximise the change success rate
Requirements:
• Certified to at least NP/IP (CCIP, CCNP etc) level
• Minimum of 5 years solid experience in a network implementation, 3rd line Operations or design role
• Previous experience with MPLS, BGP, HSRP, OSPF, ISIS and STP is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Ideally have worked in the mobile industry previously and have a excellent pedigree in the IP arena
• Ability to interact with the all of the project team
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies will be advantageous but not essential – Mobile Packet Core (SGSN/GGSN/Radius), Service Provider IP switching and routing environments, Web application / http delivery, SKYPE or video / TV streaming, Broadband services, GPRS / 3G data delivery
• Previous experience with MPLS, BGP, HSRP, OSPF, ISIS and STP is highly desirable
