Key Responsibilities
• Identify and manage the software configuration of all selected network nodes and documents according to Corporate Basic Standards.
• Change Control: Ensure formal software configuration baselines are established and all changes to these baselines are formally managed in accordance with Configuration Management procedures and tools.
• Software Configuration status and accounting: Define and implement procedures to track the latest released software versions and report changes to be carried out that are part of the established baseline.
• Software Configuration Audit: Undertake appropriate audits to ensure that the product complies with its contracted or specified requirements and to ensure that its configuration documents accurately reflect the product. Planning: must be able to plan and co-ordinate SCM activities across assigned projects.
• Problem solving: Must be able to pro-actively analyze problems and determine solutions based on the facts.
• Interpersonal skills: Must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication. Ability to listen to others and exchange information and knowledge clearly and concisely.
• Team working: Must be able to work closely with the project team and other internal departments.
• To delegate the tasks efficiently within the team so as to meet SLAs well within the time limits.
• To ensure actions and initiatives to enhance Configuration Management improvements in GNOC
• To ensure delivery of Software Configuration Management Reports towards customer as per WLA requirements
• To ensure quality checks of Software Configuration Management reports for error free circulation.
• Interface with the other organizational entities like D&P, NPI, FM, GNOC – FO, GNOC – BO etc
• Ability to perform under time constrains depending upon the business requirements.
• Interact with Customer’s top level management as and when required.
Essentials for the role :
a) Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate to customers Effectively
b) Good Understanding of Telecom Networks with at least 5 years of experience in GSM. Excellent understanding of Core Network
c) Ability to work independently and coordinate cross function at a senior level.
d) Excellent People Management skills with ability to motivate the team and achieve results.
e) Excellent analytical skills with high inquisitiveness towards new technologies
f) Structured approach towards work with ability to guide team towards a process oriented approach
g) Pro-active and able to sustain high stress levels.

Responsibility:
The Manager of Test Operations will be responsible for:
• The execution of Hardware / Software related projects within Scope, Time and Budget.
• Management of shift personnel on 24x7 basis
• Communication management for Integration projects with the ESI technical and PMO organizations.
• Business Controls for Implementation (operational tracking & control).
• Defect Reporting (support report preparations).
Skills, Experience and Education:
