Tips for Cell Phone Batteries to last long

1.   Avoid using the vibrate feature, as this consumes much more power than the ringtone.
2.   Deactivate all of the features you don't need or use. This includes the display backlight, camera, Web browser, Bluetooth features and GPS utilities.
3.   One big cell phone battery drainer is bluetooth. But when it is on and is not being used, all it really does is drain your cell phone battery.
4.   Playing cell phone games is another way to really kill your cell phone battery. Depending on how long you do it for it can be worse than having bluetooth idled. Your cell phone can save much more energy when it is on but not playing games.
5.   Adjust your backlight. Most cell phones allow you to adjust the amount of time that your backlight stays on after use. Set it to the shortest increment possible to save on battery life.
6.   Skip the screensaver. The animation and motion can actually drain your battery quicker than if it's just in standby mode.
7.   Don't overcharge your phone. Lithium batteries can develop what's known as a charge memory, which means that you can end up shortening your battery life the more you charge it. So wait for it to die completely before plugging it in for a charge.
