Job Description
• Lead Charging System projects as a technical coordinator
• Reporting of activities & documentation of work
• Prepare customer workshops, providing solution and technical expertise and make solution presentations
• Identify add on sales opportunities via a close cooperation with the customer in the delivery project
• Participate in pre-sales activities including service cost estimations
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing processes and activities within the team and with BSS communities
• Interact with customer, 3rd Party suppliers, and other Service Delivery organization
• Interface internally to project Managers, Solution Architects, Services Engineers during projects and with SDMs and support organization while doing support
• Interface externally, with Customer Technical staff and operation managers
• Handling of customer emergencies of performing a 24/7 on-call shift with the other team members
• CSR handling including the collection, analysis of data, troubleshooting deliver remedy & restorations and produce solutions according to committed service level and lead-time
Requirements:
• Must be eligible to work in Europe
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience on service delivery activities with Charging System solution
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a software or telecommunications environment
• Good understanding of GSM, WCDMA technologies
• Good IT architecture and infrastructure knowledge
• Solid knowledge and experience of Charging System nodes installation, integration, configuration, upgrade and support
• Protocol solid knowledge and experience in SS7, FTP, CAMEL, HTTP, TCP/IP, SSH, SIGTRAN, Diameter Protocols
• Excellent knowledge and experience of SUN Servers and Solaris
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Oracle and Sybase databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix (Red-Hat Linux preferred)
• Experience in the integration of complex systems in customer environments
• Testing, verification and troubleshooting experience
• Multimediation experience is an advantage
• Billing (BSCS) experience is an advantage
• Should be aware of Processes and all tools used for customer support
• Shell scripting experience
• Knowledge in programming languages like C, Java, Unix Shell, SQL/PLSQL, Pro
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team leading/coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Availability to travel and to spend periods in projects outside the country
• Flexible regarding work schedules
• Autonomous working style
