Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of numerous network elements RNC,BSC,BTS & UMTS. Responsibilities will include utilizing troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex system hardware/software problems. Assist Wireless Technicians and vendors with restoration activities when service impairments occur. Execute engineering work orders. Need to be very knowledgeable on Ericsson UMTS & GSM equipment. Utilizing Ericsson UMTS (WCDMA) OSS applications such as AMOS, CEX, Element Manager and NSA, the contractor will be responsible for fulfilling requests to perform JVM Restarts for reasons such as hanging UL CEs and hung alarms. Contractor will also be tasked with running both pre and post Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for nightly planned maintenance work.Performs other duties as assigned by management.
