Currently we have an opening for Senior Project Manager with our client in Spain.
It is a permanent position.
Please find below the job description:
Managing all Optical projects (XWDM and Photonic Mesh) under an open supervision. Take the responsibility to organize necessary resources and to manage all phases of project planning. and service activities such as planning, subcontracting, installation, commissioning, and local materials purchasing. The involved works are PO managing, subcontractors searching and authentication, performance management, cost control, quality assurance, project risk analysis in Spanish market.
Responsibilities
• Manage the whole projects assigned internally with customer and with partners.
• Fulfill contract requirements in parallel with business needs: keep the projects under schedule with the quality required, under budget.
• Continuously improve customer relationship giving good services and anticipating to customer needs.
• Get business increase based on results and covering customer expectations.
Qualifications
• University degree in Telecommunication, Electronic or Industrial engineering.
• Good knowledge of a least one of the following products, networks and solutions: Optics (preferable), Data Communications, Fix Access network (FTTx), Mobile Access Network, Microwave.
• Fluency in English.
• Preferred experience in other operators.
Skills and Experience
• Achievement driven, forward thinking, information sharing, effective communicator, people networking. Have strong leadership, team building, end-to-end project experience, able to effectively lead several project teams and give solution or instructions to project team.
• 6-8 years INDIVIDUAL project management experiences in telecommunication – as leader in the whole process, and familiar with project management process
• PM certification is preferable (i.e. PMP, PRINCE 2)
WDM Technology Customer IT Tools knowledge are desirable
