Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and thought leadership in the Radio Network technology domain during the delivery of network planning and design services in addition to acting as subject matter expert supporting Business Solutions in the definition of customer solutions within this domain
• Responsible to specify and design an E2E technical solution in co-operation with the customer, work with and manage customised solutions and products, including 3rd party products
• Provide the specified customised solutions, covering several domains and layers in the customer network, some products that are FOA are often included in the customer solution
• Will be required to provide technical and systems integration expertise across multiple domains
Requirements:
• Good Project and Configuration Management awareness
• Excellent in-depth understanding of Radio Access Networks solutions
• Must have proven track record as a Solution Architect in the area of Radio Access Networks technology and/or operations
• Be a team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be enthusiastic and motivated
• Have strong customer focus and have effective presentation and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Able to work independently and be self motivated
• Competence on the following:
• Radio Network Optimization services for GSM, EDGE and WCDMA
• Radio Network Design for GSM and WCDMA
• Radio Network Capacity Planning
• RNC capacity planning
• RAN interface and connectivity design
• Experience in GPRS and/or IP an advantage
• Experience in LTE an advantage
• Operator experience with RAN design and optimisation
• Excellent understanding of design processes and methodologies
• Excellent end to end knowledge and understanding of Service Layer networks, particularly RAN protocols and procedures
• In-depth theoretical and practical experience in GSM and WCDMA RAN functionality features
• Good understanding of air interface and propagation characteristic
• Excellent knowledge of Ericsson products and services
• Good knowledge of 3rd party products and services related to Service Layer networks
