Telecom Job Vacancy for MS BSS Back Office Engineer- Ericsson Saudi Arabia

This position reports to Back Office Core/Access Manager.

Objective of the job
The objective of this job is to provide O&M system support in relevant competence area and to ensure a timely resolution of Trouble Tickets and Change Requests.

ResponsibilitiesThe Service Engineer is responsible to his manager for ensuring that all assigned O&M tasks are fulfilled in time with the highest quality standards in accordance with WLA and SLA.
Product AreaThe MS BO Services Engineer shall be able to handle Ericsson's LTE products for Managed Services• 
The candidate is expected to have at least minimum 1-2 years solid background and experience on LTE network Ericsson product portfolio, which may include following:

Mandatory (Essentials, A Must)
• LTE Network Architecture, Topology (TDD) and Interfaces (X1, X2). 
• LTE Transport & Physical layer Protocol Stacks
• Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting (O&M) skills in eNode B 6000 family HW/SW architecture & product knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of different multi antenna scenarios (MIMO, SIMO, MISO) their troubleshooting, tracking down different symptoms 
• Excellent knowledge of OSS tools
• Excellent understanding of MoShell/AMOS and Scripting
• Excellent Understanding of IP fundamentals, configuration, traces, troubleshooting.
• O&M Routine maintenance (both preventive and corrective) for eNode Bs
• Routine Audits and Reporting skills
• Familiar with acceptance of new LTE sites according to given scopes 
• Familiar with integration procedures of LTE eNode Bs
• Able to interface and update higher management on escalations and related issues as required
• Internal and external escalations as required
• Coordination and Liaising with all concerned stake holders 
• Trouble Ticket (TT) & Change Request (CR) handling.
• Performing preventive maintenance of the radio network and take proactive action to identify, localize and correct associated faults.
• Performing acceptance tests and integration of new services, features, functions, and nodes.
• Be familiar with OSS Tools such as, CNA, SMIA, CHA, SMO, BSM & OPS.
• Remote support for filed Engineers to resolve all sites problems
• Administrative tasks required for system support, like writing progress reports to the customer.
• Perform major activities such as Re-homing, re-parenting & software upgrade.
• Ability to wok & coordinate with Optimization & Core teams to solve traffic cases.
• Ability to deal with high demands, workload and emergencies.
• Willingness to be on call and to work at nights.
Desired (Good to have)
Basic knowledge of RF Components in RBS
Basic knowledge of Transmissions nodes invlolved in LTE 
Basic Knowledge of LTE KPIs/Performance issues
Good knowledge of eNode B rebuild from scratch using Wizards and Scripts
Perl/SQL scripting skills are highly desired
Ericsson Organizational and business knowledge
