Position Description
The Wireless Network Consultant Practice is one of Key directions in our Wireless Inventory Solution Team. The team consists of Solution Architects and Consultants. The team is responsible for developing and promoting customer-centric offerings in the wireless area, comprising hardware, software and services, and increasing our share-of-pocket.
He/She will be capable to establish network consultant capability including team, tools, methodology, to lead the consultant project and interact with C-Level customer representatives with a consultative/tactical approach in order to create customer-centered business opportunities.
Work place will be distributed throughout China and Sweden. We will closely work with Research Units, Customer Units and Sales Units to provide our engagement directly to customers.
Main Roles & Tasks
The Senior Wireless Network Consultant will play a key role to drive/lead to network consultant business and develop the network capability, especially as following:
1) Technical part
Analyze customer network and business as a holistic view and provide the best solution by understanding their network architecture evolution, network performance control, coverage and capacity strategies, G/U/L service immigration strategies, mobile broadband strategy and so on.
Deep understanding the technical trend of telecom and business model references through business intelligence networks (such as telecom management, MS, new technology import, etc).
Proactively drive the discussion with customers as the leader of our team to work out the best solution for customers.
2) Business part
Analyze customer network and business as a holistic view by understanding their business issues.
Work close with key customers to drive the influence.
Repeat the discussion with customers and our team to come up with the best solution for customers, together with Solution Architects.
Starting from an assistance of other consultants, specify their financial issues, define performance targets and drive more on financial requirement side.
Know the industrial trend and business model references through business intelligence networks.
3) Consultant competence development
Pro-actively drives the Network Consulting Team to develop the Network Consulting competence, include the organization, knowledge database, consulting skills defining, consulting process, project practice, skills introduction, business plan etc.
Qualifications
1. Knowledge and Experience required
He/She will be innovative leveraging on Consultative capability establishing approach. Candidate has reached a level of competence that he/she is self-managed.
Education
Have a qualification to Bachelor degree level or equivalent in Engineering/IT/Telecom Operations/Management/Finance. Post graduate level is a plus.
Experience
Minimum 10 years business experience in Sr. and/or Lead Telecom Operations Management positions, C-Level is a plus. He/She shall have extensive knowledge of the telecommunication environment. Experience in the specific region/market is a plus. Experiences in establishing consultant capability is a plus. Sales or sales support experience is a mandatory
