Job description:
• Lead a Multi Vendor Project / Program delivering complex technical solutions for customers
• Produce proposed solutions and pricing
• Interface with customers and external suppliers at senior level
• Build and manage the multi vendor project team, define matrix of responsibility and agree SLA’s
• Apply appropriate Project Management methodologies in order to deliver complete solution
• Liaise with other vendors and establish communication channels to deal with technology / project issues
• Risk Management
• Ensure that the project team is properly resourced with the appropriate technical and delivery expertise
• Project Financial Management
• Management of external consultants
• Target setting and performance management
• Leadership and Motivation of Project Team
• Reporting to Senior Management and the Customer
Requirements:
• A Senior Project / Technical Manager with at least 10 years relevant industry experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecoms or equivalent
• A proven track record of delivery in a multi vendor environment
• Excellent team building, motivation and leadership skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent inter personal and communication skills, able to communicate with the Customer, the Project Team, Internal Stakeholders and other suppliers
• A high level of cultural awareness and experience working multi-cultural teams
• An excellent understanding of end to end process delivery
• An excellent understanding of a broad range of technologies
• Target driven and results focused
• Subcontractor management experience
• Strong commercial focus
• frequent travel may be required
