Telecom Job Vacancy for Key Account Manager in Germany

Currently there is an opening for Key Account Manager with our client in Germany. It is a permanent position.
Please find below the job description:
Candidate will be responsible for establishing, developing and deliver fixed access network business with the operator. The position requires senior level sales experience with large-scale carrier accounts.
Responsibilities
• Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with key customer accounts. Collect and analyze all marketing information.
• Enhance customer relationships
• Manage and coordinate all activities between Client and the customer. Promote the full range of Client fixed access network Technologies solutions to defined customers. 
• Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations.
Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product.
• Management and Engineering to ensure the smooth implementation of requirements with the product solutions.
• Create and present customer proposals and quotations.
• Create co-operative business plans with customers and their partners and help to define new business models and support product features.
• Create Sales Account plans which will identify, quantify, and recommend Sales action plans to address new business opportunities consistent with overall company strategy.

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or additional equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years direct telecommunications and carrier network sales / account management experience with a proven track record with an international telecoms equipment company. 
• Demonstrate ability to develop new business models for customers with new technology.
• Demonstrate ability to manage customer accounts at both the manager and technical level.
• Ability to establish brands, explore product opportunities, work out customer product competitive strategies and competitive plans.
• Detailed knowledge of local carrier business models and service management strategies.
• A proven track record of building long-term relationships with strategic carrier accounts.
• Have a good working knowledge of at least one or more of the following products & solutions: MSAN, FTTX, ODN, DSLAM.
• Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people (product management, engineering, marketing).
• Ability to show creativity and a different way of thinking will be essential.
• Must welcome challenges.
• Must be self motivated and capable of working under own initiative.
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Fluency in German and English.
