Sony Ericsson launches the Xperia Mini smartphone in the Middle East

Sony launches Xperia Mini in Middle East



The Xperia mini is priced at $272, comes in black and white and is available across all leading electronics retailers.
The phone features access to over 250,000 apps on the Android market and has a 3-inch scratch-resistant, multi-touch glass screen.
The device is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm SnapdragonTM processor and runs on Google's Android Gingerbread 2.3, it also Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and HD video recording (720p).
The improved user interface is designed to allow the display of up to 16 apps on the home screen and now has Facebook inside Xperia, designed to provide social media integration.
Facebook in the new Xperia mini is accessible from the most used areas of the phone such as the picture gallery, music player, phonebook and calendar. Furthermore, the application enables users to ‘like', share and comment.
