Vacancy: OSS Project Manager, UK Berkshire

Are you a Project Manager, with at least 5 years Project Management experience delivering OSS projects in the Telecoms market? 
Client is an international IT and services company with a growing Telecom’s division, delivering OSS/BSS, Networks and Consultancy solutions to the operators. 
This is managing the complete project life cycle and the key responsibility is to deliver single or multiple projects to a high quality, on schedule and to budget and to own the customer and 3rd party relationships at a senior and operational level. It will also support Pre-Sales activities by defining projects scopes, resource and cost estimating and confirming and promoting the ability to deliver. 
The main accountabilities include: 
-managing and mentoring the project management team, including partners 
-creating the project plan, on-going accurate measurement and correcting and escalating any issues 
-project responsibility for delivery, achieving milestones 
-customer management, communicating precisely and professionally 
-finalising the final solution to agreed criteria and completing project closure 
The position requires at least 5 years delivering OSS projects in the telecoms industry and this must include the full project life-cycle and completion of projects. Good understanding of the principles of professional services delivery and systems/software development projects and also the financial management of projects. Experience of team management and 3rd party/subcontractor management as well as managing customer relationships, at the presales and delivery stage. A project management accreditation is essential.
