Telecom Vacancy for Field Manager in Scandinavia

Currently we have an opening for Field Manager with our client in Norway.
It is a 6 months extendable contract position and client prefers Europeans.


Please find below the job description:
Key Tasks
Tools usage and data update
Manages and coordinates the TI process according to agreed project time schedule in region. Manages and maintains TI equipment related fields in IPM reflecting the solution of the TSSR. Ensures the correct usage of project tools (IPM) and the data content. Performs tool audits with TI-suppliers. Tracks all TI-extra work related issues and reports those to regional PM.


Logistics related tasks
Owner of DOP process in strong cooperation with the logistics team.
Oversees project/region/zone client equipment stock.
Responsible for the timely ordering of all TI equipment and site materials.
Implementation resource planning
Ensures TI resources are planned properly (quality and quantity) for region and zone.
Provides demand plan for needed implementation teams (Installation, commissioning and integration). In region, ensures the model site documentation and supportive TI specifications are provided to SA and permitting staff. Provides needed support towards the authorities in permitting issues


Reporting and meeting responsibilities
Responsible for reporting of TI-site progress from “Site ready for Installation” milestone until the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (including site installation, commissioning and integration). Provides required progress reporting for customer needs.
Supports to regional PM to prepare / update roll-out schedule (IPM). Supports regional PM regarding implementation
Quality assurance and reporting. Participates in "daily" progress meeting with regional project team. Reports to regional project manager all equipment implementation deviations from the original planning, i.e. Extra works, delays, cancellations, etc…


Documentation
Owner of TI-documentation rollout within the zone/region.
Ensure document control and storage system set up and used properly.


Networks
Site Solution, Customer Organisation, Project Organisation, Partners, Subcontractors, Sourcing, CDS, Global Site Solution unit.


Requirement 
- Degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering
- Min 7 yrs experience with 4-5yrs in rollout of Telecom solutions
- Project management and deployment-Managing Productivity & Quality Audit
- Practical knowledge of Telecom site rollout including BTS, MW, Antenna System
installation and commissioning complete with electrical works including Rectifier,
Battery and Generator with earthing system-Subcontractor Management
- Planning & Organizing
