Telecom Vacancy: Managed Service Engagement Director || Africa

Location: Sub Saharan Africa 
Start Date: ASAP 
End Date: 3 months (extendable) 


Responsibilities: 
• Thorough market planning and opportunity analysis, develop competitive solutions and market expansion strategies, to ensure market objectives and sales targets are achieved 
• Pro-active development of customer engagement strategies and promotional initiatives to create demand for managed service solutions 
• Adopt the leading role during MS sales engagement phase, responsible for the completion of the Executive Summary, presentation and negotiation of all MS commercial offers 
• Co-ordinate and manage the business case development and analysis, risk mitigation and MS sales engagement process to ensure success rate and quality of contractual terms 
• From visits and information exchanges with Customers’ senior Executives, leverage internal resources and promotional tools to create demand and enhance our customer perception and managed service brand 
• Gather competitor information, analyze strengths and weaknesses, develop case studies to share experiences 
• Organize regular training sessions to improve sales team’s capability 
• Enhance sales team’s negotiation skills, solutions design and engagement methodologies 
• Assist to set up PBC and evaluate the performance of other sales managers and consultants 
• Aid to recruit and qualify sales candidates when necessary 


Requirements: 
• Proven track record in Service sales achieving targets within profitability and quality guidelines
• Strong consultative selling techniques, able to articulate complex value propositions at senior executive level 
• Able to pro-actively and rapidly cultivate effective relationship with senior management executives 
• Business case and financial modelling skills, able to translate outsourcing solutions into customer value statements and financial propositions 
• Background experience from a telecom consultancy firm or telecom vendor, working experience in an operator’s organisation will be an advantage 
• Knowledge of telecom network technologies, operator’s commercial and operational processes, O&M
