Telecom Vacancy : Fixed Broadband Project Directors

Candidates should have experience in the following:
Full responsibility for overall progress, cost and quality of Fixed Broadband projects.
Huawei's senior point of contact with the customer for the duration of the contract.
Liaison with customer during the pre sales phase. Understanding requirements and developing technical solutions.
Responsible for defining and building the project organization based on the Scope of Works.
Ensure that the project is appropriately resourced with the right levels of experience and expertise.
Competence development and training.
Responsible for developing processes and procedures for full project life cycle.
Responsible for producing overall project plans.
Identification, selection and management of Consultants, Contractors and Subcontractors engaged on the project.
Liaison with external bodies (national and local government) with regard to way leaves, access and rights of way
Target setting and performance management.
Leadership and motivation of project team members.
Evaluation of performance of project team members.
Budget preparation and management.
Reporting to Huawei Senior Management and the Customer.
Ensuring that financial targets are met by producing Acceptance and Billing plans.
A Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years relevant experience managing projects in an international environment.
A proven track record of delivery of Fixed Broadband projects.
An excellent understanding of Fixed Broadband technologies (NGN, FTTx etc.)
Excellent team building, motivation and leadership skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Excellent inter personal and communication skills, able to communicate with the Customer and the Project Team at all levels.
A high level of cultural awareness and experience managing multi-cultural teams.
An excellent understanding of end to end process delivery.
Extensive experience in organization, staffing and recruitment.
Target driven and results focussed.
Proven Subcontractor management experience.
Commercial awareness.
