At least 5 years experience as Service Delivery Manager.
Project Planning: Plans, prioritizes, and executes projects by working with Account Managers, Service delivery and Product Managers, and Customers. Develops required project documentation, identifying project goals and tasks and generating assignments consistent to meet objectives. Establishes change management procedures, including evaluation and communication for project duration. Develops reporting strategy for project. If applicable, participates in selection of additional Project Managers to delegate portions of project. In this multi country deployment, the project manager will also develop a structured delivery model to communicate the delivery to the respective Opco’s worldwide, either directly or through other project managers working with him in the team.
Relationship
Project Execution: Takes responsibility for projects and actively makes things happen. Reviews project plans, institutes changes, and reprioritizes as necessary. Ensures that all commitments are met in accordance with project goals/objectives. Controls project activities, directs all project personnel, and ensures compliance with all policies. Creates and monitors reporting on project financial and schedule progress based upon project goals. Ensures strategy for cost control is used. Uses project data to optimize project success.
Manage Risks and Changes: Performs risk management. Manages change, evaluates information, and formulates action plans to minimize schedule delays and costs. Takes advantage of change opportunities and recommends new or revised strategies for project integration.
Results Focused: Uses contractual information to maximize success of project. Effectively manages closure of project through Customer final acceptance. Understands and ensures quality standards are achieved. Evaluates and communicates final project results (schedule achievement, budget and cost efficiency, project team performance, lessons learned, and customer satisfaction) to project team and sponsor in a method as agreed in the project specification
Project Process and Tools: Actively uses consistent project methods, processes, and tools (scheduling tools, finance tools, procurement tools) to meet project needs. Drives the use of project document management.
