Telecom Vacancy: Senior Service Engineer Integration (DXX Expert) || Africa

Location: Sub Saharan Africa 
Start date: ASAP 
End date: 1 year 



Responsibilities: 
• Responsible for the commissioning of the Network nodes and Solutions 
• Analyze the customers' existing systems, needs and requirements 
• Proposes technical solutions to/for the customers 
• Establishes test specifications and procedures for the solutions with high focus on acceptance test procedure, acceptance test and hand over to the customer and support organization 
• Create files to configure an upgrade of existing network or a new network build 
• Collect the needed information to create scripts for configuration of the nodes/solutions 
• Use the existing processes, produce an instruction or design a new one to verify the integration of the products interfaces, and/or create similar processes /instructions needed for the integration of the solutions in the customer's system 
• Perform installation checking and site preparation and ensure the result follow installation recommendations 
• Secures that the delivered solution is properly implemented and works in accordance with the requirements 
• Ensures testing and integrations are performed as planned and in accordance to Customer requirement and integration process & specifications 
• Create migration plans and perform data migration 
• Perform update/upgrade activities, according to procedures and trouble shoot any related problems 
• Perform network and/or node reviews/audits 
• Perform network optimization including investigating network performance and issuing, discussing and/or implementing recommendations for network improvement 
• Act as team leader to plan, coordinate and execute general or specific operations/activities and is also expected to identify service improvement 
• Ensures customers get the best transmission implementation service result as measured by lead-time, quality and cost 
• Leads/mentors to provide insights for less experienced colleagues in day to day operations and leads sessions in knowledge sharing and reviews knowledge sharing objects 



Requirements: 
• Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, telecom) or 1-2 years academic studies combined with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience 
• At least 5 years of relevant service delivery experience 
• Deep and broad knowledge and experience across Product Area's service portfolio 
• Competence to operate and support products from other vendors within a system solution
