The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for the rollout and deployment of Fibre Optics products for a Multi-National mobile network operator in South Africa.
The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for both pilot and full rollout phases and requires excellent project management, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
The ideal candidate for this role should be working in a similar role for a major telecommunications company, with proven experience in Fibre Optic products rollout.

Qualifications Competences & Skills
• Knowledge of 2G/3G, SDH, DWDM and CWDM transmission will be appreciated
• Very good knowledge and understanding of standard technical processes and principles
• Ability to drive multi subcontractor's teams and sites supervisors' onsite and follow up their deliverables including up scope.
• High level of commitment, flexibility and resilience
• Determination and sense of responsibility to manage self and team with minimal supervision
• Independent, quality-oriented approach
• Excellent presentation/communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Project or similar scheduling tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to write technical and operational process documents as needed
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
