Cloud Sales & Business Developer, UK
Role PURPOSE:
• Find and develop new business opportunities in the cloud field
• Support European sales teams during the presales and sales phase
• Participate in the development of the Cloud offerings
• Participate in the different events, marketing and training activities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for closing sales of Cloud services
• Business development for strategic key accounts, helping account teams to create the value proposition; shape the opportunity; produce the proposal; contracting and deploying the solution
• Manage the pipeline of Cloud opportunities
• Support the Product Line Management and the creation / customization of the solution / portfolio of offerings
• Follow up all opportunities and proposals, RFx response
• Help to create the business plan and the economic offer
• Applies consultative sales techniques to meet or exceed established sales targets. Accountable for presenting our value proposition to targeted audience.
• Coordinate communications between the Cloiud Computing Centre and local office on Business Development related matters
• Promotes the organization's capabilities to provide an integrated solution that combines products and services
• Maintains a high level of industry, product and service knowledge to transfer this knowledge to customers and prospects. Utilizes advanced product/service knowledge and understanding of the customer's business to develop customized proposals that present creative solutions that successfully sell the company’s offerings
• Works in collaboration with the company's Product Marketing Managers and Pre-sales Engineers and builds and maintains effective relationships with other organizations within the multinational to ensure resources are made available as and when required.
• Operates in line with any statutory obligations (such as SOX, SOP) and the company's business processes and procedures
• Delivers and co-ordinates customer presentations and demonstrations
• Identifies and attends appropriate events related to the company’s business - Network activities, lobbying

• Proven track record of increasing revenue and profitability
• Experience of matrix organization and cross functional team
• Degree or equivalent in Economics, Commercial or Engineering
• Some technical background and postgraduate in business / marketing desirable
• Manage and create RFQ’s (request for Quotation) and RFI’s (request for Information)
• Market knowledge of the IT sector in the UK
