Job vacancy for IT Analysis & Operations Engineer, Cloud Computing - IT Telecom in Madrid (Spain)

Our client is a global leader within the new technology market and now looking into expanding their expertise within the field of cloud computing.

Currently this company is searching for enthusiastic candidates who would like to work as IT Analysis & Operations Engineer in their department dedicated to Cloud Computing.


Role Purpose:
• Responsible for providing management of the IT infrastructure within the project.
• This infrastructure includes the physical network (e.g. servers, terminals, storage) as well as server applications and software (e.g., VMWare, HyperV, other hypervisors, Windows Server, UNIX).
• Responsible for the configuration, maintenance and installation of servers applications and hardware
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for training the customer on information technology being able to deliver detailed and deep technical product training to customers
• Primarily administers or runs applications and systems but not limited to it helping in the developing of applications and systems processes
• Responsible for IT administration within the project administering systems on multiple platforms such as HyperV, other hypervisors, Windows Server, UNIX
Other Features of the Role:
• Maintains, installs, upgrades and configures computer systems hardware and software
• Administers operating systems and establishes and maintains security
• Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures
• Provides operational support ( servers, cluster, storage, fiber Channel )
• Performs recovery procedures, scheduling and backups, and monitors batch processes
Essential Requirements:
• Experience in a similar role
• IT administration background
• Understanding of IT and communications environments
• Experience with training and demonstrating
• Educated to degree level or equivalent preferred Electronics /Telecommunication major.
• Knowledge of Cloud and other product/solutions (SaaS, Web 2.0, CRM, virtualization, VMware, HyperV and other hypervisors,Windows Server, UNIX etc.)
• Fluent English is essential and intermediate level knowledge of Spanish are required
• Willing to relocate to Madrid
• 3 years of Experience in a similar role
